The PCS Revenue & Customs Group Executive Committee is launching a ‘Jobs and Staffing Campaign.’ This is aimed at tying together a number of issues into a single dispute with demands around jobs and the need for a fully resourced HMRC.
In the attached discussion paper, a small group of workers within the department lay out their own ideas on the campaign. They are critical of how the GEC has handled a number of key issues up to this point, but are also concerned that the way to challenge this mis-management is through grassroots organising and developing a strategy to win, on which they offer their thoughts.
The paper has been produced to provoke debate and is reproduced here in order to make it more readily accessible to anybody who wishes to read it. Please share it among fellow workers in HMRC and put it to your branches for discussion and/or endorsement.
